2 Day Optical Assistants Programme

In order to allow your practice to consistently deliver a memorable experience, your practice needs to have knowledgeable and confident optical assistants and receptionists. 

On 18th and 19th December in Central London we will be covering the first 3 key courses delivered in 2 days. This will include the most important objectives from the 3 days condensed into 2 days from the following courses:

This event is in Central London by Victoria station and we've chosen a special venue:

Tuesday 18th December and Wednesday 19th December delivered at the Plumbers Arms, 14 Lower Belgrave Street which is famous for Lady Lucan bursting in on the evening of 7th November 1974 covered in blood and fearing for her own life after discovering that her husband, Lord Lucan, had murdered their nanny, Sandra Rivett. 

The venue has a dedicated meeting and events room and offers a local pub lunch on both days with refreshments through the day.

All 3 events would normally cost £675 based on £225 per day but this offer equates to just £360 for both days if booked by Tuesday 11th December. To reserve places, email the name/s of your delegate/s along with your practice details. Spaces will be limited to allow hands-on-training when fitting, adjusting and measuring. (Non-members pricing is £430 for both days)

Price after the early bird discount will be £395 for members and £475 for non-members

The events will go through understanding refractive conditions, how we see, hands-on-dispensing including collections along with frame fitting, adjusting and carrying out repairs such as replacing nylon cords. This is everything your optical advisor needs to be a confident, knowledgeable expert where they can transfer their new skills immediately back in your practice.

Course Overview

The event is aimed at practice owners and managers and key practice team members and will make a real difference to your business in 2018.

I will be presenting and debating with you the top action points which have helped many SightCare members maximise their sight test conversions and dispensing average values which has produced some amazing results. •             building rapport and confidence in the consulting room and on the retail floor

•             improving handovers throughout your patient journey

•             a keep in touch strategy which involves the whole team

•             improving your internal and external communication

•             introducing a sales process which is not hard selling

•             understanding your own actions and how this relates to your patient journey
